Brian discovered yoga by chance as a inflexible 24 year old living in Australia. He happened to move into a house next door to a yoga studio, and has been practicing ever since. After training in India, studying Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Iyengar and therapeutic yoga, he has been teaching in Dublin for many of the great studios there, such as Yogahub, Yoga Dublin, Hot Yoga Dublin, Sweaty Soul and The Space Between.
In recent years he has studied mobility under Justin Wolfer, and breathwork and pranayama trainings with Dan Brule and Himalaya Yoga Valley. His classes look to combine movement and mobility with more traditional yoga elements, looking to create a sense of space and easy physically, while mindfully becoming more conscious of body and breathe.
He also teaches breathwork classes, which aim to help people tap in to the amazing resource that is their breathing. Recently he launched The Breathwork Club, a podcast that brings simple breathwork practices and techniques accompanied by the music of the ambient composer Gareth Quinn Redmond.
Brian leads the teacher trainings at The Yogahub Camden Street, and also hosts retreats, both in Ireland and abroad.
